Michael graduated from the Royal Military College at the top of his faculty in computer science and mathematics with a focus on machine learning. He served for more than ten years as a Canadian Army officer. That experience shaped his approach to planning, teamwork, and disciplined execution. In the private sector he founded fintech startups, took products from concept to market, and completed exits through M&A with multinational partners. He holds a risk management designation and is also a licensed real estate broker. His work spans fintech, proptech, and SaaS across multiple jurisdictions. In his free time, Michael enjoys hiking and collecting rocks.
